I wrote this song after meeting Emily, we would often go walking in the woods near my house, a spot I also reference heavily in the song Sharing Space by the way. The beauty of someone new coming into your life can make everything light up in a new hue of vibrancy. Everything seemed to be greener and more colourful. Food tasted new, things smelled better, and I was smiling a lot of the time. At the same time as I was getting to know Emily my friend Ashley had just had her first baby, Gwendolyn, that beautiful smiling face was also some inspiration for this song as it felt like I was also experiencing everything from the eyes of a newborn. I still remember one time at Ashley and Sean's place Gwendolyn was making all these funny faces at Emily and I, we just couldn't stop laughing, such a perfect moment.
